Inside our intimate wellness event at The Glades, Putra Heights
The ultimate relaxation
Spanning an impressive 56 acres, The Glades, Putra Heights is a green residential enclave that one has to experience for themselves. With its lush landscaping and waterways stretching as far as the eye can see, this exclusive gated and guarded development immediately evokes a sense of calm and sanctuary the minute you pass its threshold.
At the same time, the township is also teeming with energy and liveliness. Comprising a collection of luxury low-rise condominiums, bungalows, superlink homes, cluster villas and townhouses and a bustling retail hub, The Glades is a residential sanctuary with a clear focus on nature, community and sustainable living.
What better way to discover this gem of a neighbourhood than with a sensorial and hands-on escapade? For one magical evening, we invited several Friends of BURO for a special and intimate wellness-themed event to experience what this exclusive estate has to offer.

We started off the curated programme at Ole-Ole Bali, located at the vibrant retail hub opposite the residential enclave. Known as The Glades Plaza, this three-storey retail village houses trendy, al-fresco cafes and dining options to serve its residents and the greater Putra Heights community.
Guests were welcomed into the tropical-themed restaurant, where scrumptious plates of Balinese salads, skewers and refreshing mocktails were served. Hosted by representatives from Sime Darby Property, a brief introduction of The Glades was given to curious guests.
In between conversation and refreshments, our guests also joined a perfumery workshop led by The Ark. With an array of essential oils on display, they chose their favourite scents to create their own unique fragrance to bring home.
Then it was time to witness The Glades in all its lush, green glory. Guests were whisked away on a Sunset Buggy and Staria Tour by Sime Darby Property representatives, where they took in the picturesque environment as they circled the development. From winding past shady canopies of trees to seeing the different types of residential housing, our Friends of BURO were able to learn more about the premium property up close and personal.
One of the focal points of The Glades is its residents-only Waterfront Clubhouse. Recreating the atmosphere of a luxury tropical resort environment for its residents, the clubhouse takes relaxation to a new level.
It features facilities such as a 50m infinity swimming pool, mini Jacuzzis, sauna, tennis courts, gym, saunas, BBQ area, and spectacular panoramic views of the waterways. In other words: the perfect place for our next relaxing activity in the programme.
On the deck above, the Clubhouse’s Multipurpose Hall was transformed into a captivating space, where scented candles and dim lights created a comfortable and intimate environment for guests to relax.
Led by Kit, a Mobility and Wellness Coach, attendees had an invigorating 30-minute candlelight yoga session. After stretching their bodies, they were lulled into a 30-minute restorative sleep by Holistic Coach, Sarah Lian, and her sound bowls in a sound bath session.
At the end of our wellness programme, guests walked home with a goodie bag which included a Diptyque candle, a pack of Dr. Ora Crystal Luxe Collagen and merchandise worth RM500.
