How did you initially get into content creation and beauty?
“I started creating content almost by accident! From there, the joy of helping people with tips and inspiring them to feel their best (with or without makeup) kind of pulled me into this career.
“My content has really changed over time, too! Back in university, my content revolved more around fitness and gym. Then, I moved more into fashion and beauty. Beauty has always been a passion and I realised I could share that passion and connect with others by showing my love for skincare and makeup online.”
What’s your favourite thing about Deepavali?
“Family, without a doubt. I love that everyone gets together to eat delicious food, drink chai, and even nap together afterwards—it’s almost a tradition at this point!”
What are some traditional beauty rituals that you love to indulge in?
“Growing up, my mom would make us these homemade masks from yoghurt, turmeric, and honey. I used to do them weekly, and they were the best! I’ve been wanting to bring that tradition back.”
What is your favourite thing about Malaysia’s beauty scene and working in beauty?
“Malaysia’s beauty scene is all about diversity and self-expression. I love that most people here celebrate their uniqueness (something very important to me). It’s a great space to be a part of!”

Who are some women in beauty that you look up to?
“Women who redefine the industry with their authenticity inspire me most. For me, that’s people like Pat McGrath and Huda Kattan. I admire how they blend their heritage with their brand and stay true to their roots while empowering so many others.”
What are your five must-have makeup essentials?
“The first makeup product I ever got as a child was eyeliner, and it’s still a staple in my routine today! I love to pair it with a good mascara to open up the eyes and make them pop. Concealer also helps me achieve a fresh, bright look, especially on days when my eyes need a pick-me-up. Then, I’ll use blush on my cheeks, eyes and lips for an easy, cohesive look, and if I need to enhance the shape of my lips further I’ll use a lip liner to pull the look together!”
As a content creator, you’re at a lot of events. How do you take care of your skin after wearing a full face after a long day?
“Double cleansing is key! I always start with an oil cleanser or cleansing balm to remove makeup, then follow up with a gentle cleanser. Hydration is non-negotiable for me, so a good hydrating serum comes next, followed by a thick moisturiser.
“During the day, it’s SPF all the way, and at night, I love a rich face oil for overnight hydration and glow.”
What are your best beauty tips for tan and deeper-skinned girlies?
“To be honest, I’ve always struggled a little with this. My skin tone is in the medium tan range, so giving advice to deeper skin-toned girlies doesn’t feel right to me. But, if you ask for my opinion… I love to see my brown skin ladies embracing their natural skin tones!
“I love seeing orange blush and deep berry lips—rich shades look so good on deeper skin! I just don’t want my girls to hide behind nude shades anymore. Like, go for colour because it looks so good on you!”

How do you make your makeup last longer in humid Malaysia?
“Prepping the skin is everything in this humidity! I use a mattifying primer in the T-zone, then go for long-wear formulas. To finish up, setting everything in place with a good translucent powder or setting spray helps it last all day.”
How do you wind down after a long week?
“I love a good reset at the end of the week! Cleaning my space helps clear my mind, then I’ll usually treat myself to either a hair treatment or a massage and an everything shower. It’s my peaceful and sacred time!”

What has been the highlight of your career as a content creator so far?
“Connecting with my community has been a highlight for sure. There’s nothing quite like seeing a message or comment from someone who has felt inspired or uplifted by my content—it’s the best part of what I do! I appreciate these messages. It means so much to me.”
What is one thing you’d like to tick off your beauty bucket list?
“Probably working with a top-tier global beauty brand to develop a product (she’s a dreamer!) or doing a masterclass collaboration to help others with their beauty journey would be so amazing!”
