Dua Lipa’s rich, inky brown

Ahead of her upcoming two-day KL concert this November, the British-Albanian singer has entered a new hair era. Her iconic crimson locks inspired many women to embrace colour for the first time (us included), but, though deep red was the perfect spring and summer hue, it looks like she’s ready to go back to her roots. And, we have to say that this dark, inky brown is really tempting us to follow suit—it’s just such a beautifully dimensional colour with plenty of shine, not just a flat, dull black.
Rosé’s clean platinum blonde

With palettes getting darker and moodier for fall, you may want to consider going platinum instead. Blackpink’s Rosé, fresh off a killer collab with Bruno Mars, is who we’re looking to for inspiration in that department. As a loyal Saint Laurent girlie, the idol has proven time and time again that sometimes the only pop of colour you need to accessorise a full-black fit is a little icy blonde to top it off.
Kendall Jenner’s golden, natural blonde

Don’t want to commit to full platinum? The older Jenner sister debuted her blonde locks last month, and if her appearance at the Academy Museum gala yesterday is anything to go by, the colour is holding up really well. Plus, it’s a better low-maintenance option than platinum—the warm blonde has been tapped with a shadow root for a more natural look that matches her dark brows for a more seamless blend and grow-out process.
Chappell Roan’s fiery locks

If you’re not ready to let go of your summer ginger like Dua Lipa, why don’t you turn up the intensity on your red and channel Chappell Roan instead? The Midwest Princess’ locks are the perfect hue for fall—distinctive enough to stand out against gloomy weather and duller palettes while still giving your complexion a brightening boost. All it takes is a little confidence and you’re good to go!
Jennie’s bubblegum pink

For those looking for a full fall overhaul, consider reaching far out of the box and rocking a head of bubblegum pink. It may not seem like it, but pink is actually a super forgiving colour—not only will it be easier to achieve than a light blue, for example, but it also goes with pretty much any basic wardrobe. Either way, it’s a great option if you want a more striking makeover for the season!
PS: Okay, maybe Jennie is wearing a wig, but this vibrant pastel pink is definitely achievable with a lot of TLC!
