One look at Korean actress Lee Sung-Kyoung and you can tell that she possesses all the right traits that affirm her role as Laneige’s brand ambassador. The 28-year old star wields both an inimitable grace (partly thanks to her willowy 1.75m frame) and open candidness, especially when she talks about her favourite things.
One of the first model-actresses to sign on under YG Entertainment, Lee quickly shot to fame after starring as the titular character in drama-comedy Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo and romance series Cheese in the Trap. It was no surprise that she scored official beauty gig as Laneige’s brand ambassador shortly after, thanks to her glass-like complexion and traffic-stopping features. Her first campaign for Laneige was launched this time last year for the Layering Cover Cushion—now a bestseller for its hydrating properties and two-in-one convenience.
Just recently, we managed to score five minutes from Lee’s busy schedule during her quick stay in Kuala Lumpur to talk about her current beauty bag essentials, film roles she’d love to play in the future and advice she has to offer for her Malaysian fans.
