While most were busy fawning over the noir lip trend that took over the runways this season, we were caught up with the utterly romantic beauty looks that featured rosy cheeks, tinted lips and flawless skin (plus the mandatory layers of mascara). This season, Bobbi Brown teaches us how we can DIY this look that was spotted at Jenny Packham and Marchesa.
Jenny Packham AW16
To showcase a disco-swinging vibe that was present in the sequin-laden collection, the idea for hair and makeup was to amplify the glamour that a contemporary woman would have. A subtle pink flush was imbued to flawless matte skin along with a light speckled gold shimmer. Eyes were dusted with sequin shadow and layered with Eye Opening Mascara, while stained lips were kept a muted pink using Art Stick in Dusty Pink.

Marchesa AW16
On the other hand, an aristocratic, old-world glamour was rife in Marchesa AW16, hence a subtlely feminine beauty look to bring out the bold dramatic designs. Again, skin was kept flawless and glowing with a tinge of pink via Retouching Powder in Rose and Pink. A slick of burnt red was spotted on the lips, and the eyes were kept minimal with sheer white and defining black mascara.
