Diptyque is giving us good reason to get excited this Valentine’s Day

For Valentine’s Day this year, French fragrance brand Diptyque is taking us on a journey to the Orient with plenty of surprises to unfold. Inspired by the fragrant confection hailing from the Bosphorus shores that is Turkish Delight, the range is imbued with the scent of rose and honey that is synonymous with the sweet. Aptly named Rose Delight, the collection is wrapped in a subtle pink Toiles de Jouy motif that was crafted by graphic design icon Leslie David. This cotton fabric sports prints of rural scenes that were previously popular with the 18th century Versailles elite, including peacocks, palm trees, swans and the Taj Mahal—making it the most eloquent packaging for the collection. Take your pick from scented papers to wax candles from the range, all with a dash of honey and lemon that offer a crisp note to the floral facets.

But that’s not all. Diptyque is updating its fragrance ritual this year with a new addition to its Eau Rose lineup. The brand sought inspiration from the 18th-century woman who pat on fragrant powder on their tresses in their beauty routine. With an emphasis on the importance of rituals, the new Eau Rose hair fragrance offers more than just a pleasant scent. Its formula has Camelia oil that nourishes and protects the hair, allowing the infusion of Centifolia and Damask Rose to stand out on its own without overwhelming the senses. Want ultra soft hair to the touch that smells amazing all day long? It’s time to drop by your nearest Diptyque store.
