PFW SS16 Day 6: Summer punch

While temperatures dipped slightly as the cooler season beckons in Paris, beauty trends indoors during day five of Paris Fashion Week explored warm tones and summer ready looks.

Céline went with a classic, vibrant red lip while keeping the complexion fresh and hair sleek, while subtle white eyeshadow coated the lids for a touch of spring. Models at Kenzo sported glistening hair akin to a just-got-out-of-the-pool look, with a sepia-toned lip colour that was inspired by a desert tan (“bronzer on the lips” as the makeup artist said).

A slightly darker, rock glam look was spotted at Masha Ma, with smudged kohl-rimmed eyes and slightly tousled hair ends. Maison Rabih Kayrouz reiterated that sentiment but with a cleaner aesthetic—heavily-lined eyes with beachy waves. Alongside that, delicately flushed cheeks and fuzzy flyaway hair harboured a spring vestige at Alexander McQueen as well.
