Why Kuizz should be on your radar

Kuizz’s name might still be unfamiliar with some Malaysian listeners, but the singer-songwriter and producer from Kuala Lumpur has had his fair share of success on international airwaves. He started writing and producing at the age of 19, and has worked with Canadian Juno Award nominees like Mia Martina (‘Heart Really Hurts’) and Danny Fernandes (‘Overdose’, ‘End of the World’), as well as American artist Kritinia Debarge (‘Ignite’).

After a considerable stint of writing and producing tracks for others, Kuizz stepped into the spotlight himself as he made his debut as a solo artist in 2016. His first EP Till The End is a solid production with a groovy pop-house sound topped with soulful vocals. Take ‘Uncool’ and ‘Silver Tide’ for a spin and you’ll get what we mean.

Later that year, Kuizz teamed up with Los Angeles and Singapore-based artist Haneri to release ‘Silences’, a song “about a relationship drifting apart caused by miscommunication and unspoken words”. The track garnered huge traction, earning more than a million listens on Spotify to date and a feature on HuffPost.

Kicking off 2018 on the right note, Kuizz is back to delight fans with his brand new song ‘No Matter’—an urban, upbeat and catchy track just in time for the weekend. Listen to it here:
