The latest Netflix drops to binge-watch this weekend

Paskal

Missed the local blockbuster in cinemas last year? Well now you can catch up with all the action on Netflix. Starring Hairul Azreen, Tiger Hu Chen and Ammar Alfian Aziz, the plot is inspired by actual events of the elite naval unit Paskal (Pasukan Khas Laut) during the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Angola in 1998 and the rescue of seized MV Bunga Laurel’s trade vessel in 2011.

Triple Frontier

Looks like it’s the month of elite forces on the streaming service. Netflix original film Triple Frontier follows five former special forces operatives who reunite to steal a drug lord’s fortune, unleashing a chain of unintended consequences on their trail. The star-studded cast includes Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam and Garrett Hedlund.

Season 3 of Queer Eye

Yes, the wait is over—everybody’s favourite ‘Fab Five’ is back to serve up more hip tips, emotionally charged makeovers and heartfelt reveals to hit you right in the feels.

Love, Death & Robots

If you like your animations a little dark and twisted, then get on Love, Death & Robots. An NSFW anthology of 18 animated stories by Tim Miller and David Fincher, it is melting pot of gore, nudity, violence, terrifying creatures, wicked surprises and dark comedy, with genres differing from episode to episode.

The Disappearance of Madeline McCann

Netflix’s latest documentary dives into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, which has been touted the most heavily reported missing-person case in modern history. The then 3-year-old was on holiday Praia da Luz, Portugal, from the UK with her family, before she was taken from the apartment one night when her parents were out at dinner.
