The complete list of winners at the 2018 SAG Awards

The Screen Actors Guild awards has widely been known as a night for performers, by performers. But in light of the current climate in Hollywood, a switch was made for the 24th edition of the awards show. For the first time ever, a host was put on stage to set the tone and steer its commentary. Kristen Bell, the prestigious evening’s appointed host, kept her monologue light but grounded in important matters. “We are living in a watershed moment and as we march forward with active momentum and open ears let’s make sure we are leading the charge with empathy and diligence. Because fear and anger never win the race,” said Bell. “Most importantly, regardless of our differences I think we can all come together and delight in one thing. ‘Frozen 2’ is coming out in theatres 2019. I’m very excited!”

Besides breaking traditions, records too were shattered. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is officially the holder of the most SAG honours for a single actor—topping Julianna Marguillies and Alec Baldwin’s respective eight. Sterling K. Brown of ‘This is Us’ made history as the first African-American actor to win best male actor in a drama. Find out how ‘Three Billboards’ swept the board and which other motion pictures and television shows took top honours last night:
