The new Dioraddict bagaholics can’t get enough of this season

House codes collide with new world cues for the latest Dior It-bag. Bestowed upon us during the Autumn/Winter 2017 show, the Dioraddict caught our attention as it accompanied the slender Dior clique down the Parisian runway.

An unmistakable D-I-O-R in block letters gleams from the metallic trunklock closure on which it is emblazoned. The striking hardware sits front and centre; paying tribute to wanderlust and the classical trunks of yesteryear. Behind it, the iconic Dior cannage pattern —inspired by the cane chairs of the brand’s atelier—informs the quilting of the bag. Supple lambskin is strewn with tiny golden studs in one version; edging the classy accessory towards a hint of irreverence

The rebellion does not stop there; Maria Grazia Chiuri embraces the trending thick shoulder strap to pair with the Dioraddict. Ethnic prints and aged silver-tone medallions adorn a red canvas strap to give an otherwise unassumingly feminine black Dioraddict flap bag an intriguing bohemian vibe.

A beauty like this deserves to be flaunted in as many ways as possible. Whether worn as a cross body or shoulder bag, carried on the crook of your elbow or as an evening clutch, the Dioraddict lends itself to every occasion, be it day or night.
