The most eye-catching headpieces at Met Gala 2018

With the theme “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, this year’s Met Gala inspired a plethora of extravagant ensembles with dramatic beauty looks to match. You could say that was expected from the fashion’s biggest event of the year. What wasn’t quite as expected was the grand number of elaborate headpieces that took to the red carpet, further elevating the already stunning looks. 

Ever the show-stopper, Rihanna stayed true to the theme with a beaded bishop hat to match her pope-inspired Maison Margiela corset mini dress. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked angelic with a simple halo, while Frances McDormand dialled up the drama in a statement Philip Tracey feather headpiece.
