When Cara Delevingne opened the show at Balmain, it almost looked like she was walking on tiptoes—this was but an optical illusion, upon closer look you’ll see the angular heels crafted from plexiglass. Olivier Rousteing highly sculptural creations this season were inspired by Parisian architecture. The iconic pyramid that is the Louvre finds itself referenced in high-shine minidresses that resemble shards of glass pieced together, and of course, the shoes.
