Watch: The best Holiday 2020 fashion campaigns to kickstart your countdown to the festivities

’Tis the season to be jolly! Our holiday celebrations may not be the same this year, but the major fashion houses are still set on spreading some festive cheer with a slew of holiday campaigns to get us in a merry mood. After all, Christmas is in T-minus 24 days (yes, we’re counting).

From Gucci’s ‘90s office party concept to Kate Spade New York’s purr-fect celebration to Christian Louboutin’s comedy skit, watch the best festive fashion campaigns of 2020 below:

Gucci

Office parties are definitely a no-go this year, but Gucci still wants you to reminisce the good times with a campaign that’s set at a ‘90s workplace. With Yazoo’s ‘Only You’ as the soundtrack, the short film showcases a group of co-workers who are excitedly counting down to the celebration at the office.

Spot some of the eye-catching pieces from the Gift Giving Collection such as the GG Marmont 2.0 and Tennis 1977 sneakers that are emblazoned with sequins, the East/West tote in a woolly jacquard fabric, and more.

Michael Kors

The video takes on a behind-the-scenes format as models Bella Hadid, Mayowa Nicholas, and Salomon Diaz, get ready for a Holiday 2020 shoot while designer Michael Kors asks each of them an important question: “What makes a star?”. Featuring an array of bold and bright separates, regardless of how intimate your celebration is, these pieces will light up the room, that’s for sure.

Versace

Many look forward to returning home for the holidays, and Versace aims to evoke the same feeling with its festive campaign. Starring Irina Shayk, Adut Akech, Biaggio Ali Walsh, and more, the campaign depicts an ultra-glamorous road trip featuring Versace convertibles, scenic backdrops, and impeccable fashion.

Burberry

Burberry takes a different route this year with a campaign that’s filled with visual effects, fun choreography, and a whole lot of ice. Set to a cover of Singin’ In The Rain, a group of young dancers—dressed in some of the brand’s signature pieces—swayed, walked, and danced down the street, bringing the different worlds of fashion, dance, and sports together.

The campaign is also a part of an initiative—in partnership with Marcus Rashford—to support the youth communities in the UK.

Kate Spade New York

If Kate Spade New York’s holiday campaign is anything to go by, cats are always welcomed. The short clip features a furry kitty enjoying itself at a soiree, where the brand’s collection of sparkly pieces take centre stage.

Prada

Instead of a cheery campaign, Prada’s holiday short film is a dark mystery that centers around a stranger in a villa. Titled ‘A Stranger Calls’, the original short story is conceived and written by best-selling author Candice Carty-Williams.

Christian Louboutin

What happens when you put a drag queen, a mailman, and an elf in one room? A comedy skit that’s filled with fun, fashion, and fabulousness. Christian Louboutin’s festive campaign this year will put a smile on your face.
