Style crush: Gisele Bündchen

Did you know that Gisele Bündchen was scouted at McDonald’s (while she was tucking into her Big Mac) when she was 14 years old? After placing fourth in the Elite Model content in Spain in 1995, she moved to Sao Paolo to launch her modelling career and never looked back. Now, with an estimated net worth of USD$380 million, she has been the world’s highest-earning model for 17 long years (before Kendall Jenner took over her spot in 2017). Modelling prowess aside, when it comes to personal style, count on Gisele to look equally outstanding.

The Brazilian supermodel’s number one rule on dressing is to always flaunt your best assets, and in her case, it’s her endless toned legs, no doubt. Often spotted in plain hues, she opts for cut-outs and slits to give her red-carpet staples that extra zest (her asymmetrical satin gown at the MET Gala this year radiated major Bell from Beauty and the Beast vibes). On days off, Gisele prefers to go down the trousers route—rocking monochrome pantsuits with flared trousers that further elongate her legs (yes, it’s possible). We especially loved how she gave her day-off outfit in look 1 that edgy appeal by juxtaposing a slouchy sweater with skin-tight patent leather trousers.

Below, some of Gisele Bundchen’s best looks from recent years:
