NYFW SS16: Boss Women

Jason Wu is doing wonders at Boss Women. His woman works for her money and her wardrobe is unfussy, superbly cut and always elegant. Borrowing from the house’s heritage, Wu showed the chicest tailored pantsuits but in a looser, more relaxed silhouette. Wu’s use of pleats and sheer panels lent a little sex appeal, while adding just the right amount of interest. There were a couple of riffs on a white shirt that seemed a little done before, but  filmy dresses in bright yellow, blue and red were a nice counter-balance to the more structured pieces.
