The Dior Men capsule collection with Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama hits stores today

Known for his erotic ‘Sexy Robot’ series, artist Hajime Sorayama collaborated with Kim Jones for a capsule collection for Dior Men’s Pre-Fall 2019, and is now available in stores. The exclusive collection sees a range of leather goods with a blend of Dior’s iconic styles mixed in with Sorayama’s well-known futuristic aesthetic. The Dior Oblique print is seen on the large rectangular backpack, shoulder bag and belt bag overlayed with the self-proclaimed “superrealism” artists’s signature dinosaur robot, decorated with cherry blossoms signifying Dior’s love of flowers and Sorayama’s Japanese roots. Like his robotic maidens, the mechanical prehistoric reptile shares the same silver chromic glory, proudly emblazoned on wallets, bags and pochettes.
