If you’re currently on a K-drama binge like me (I’ve finished My Secret, Terrius, Mr. Sunshine, Oh My Venus, Healer, My First First Love, and I Am Not a Robot this MCO *insert crysmile emoji*), I’m sure you’ve either started or finished watching Itaewon Class—one of the most popular Korean series on Netflix at the moment—after Crash Landing On You, that is.
Starring one of the most popular actors in South Korea, Park Seo Joon, the 2020 drama highlights an ex-con and his friends’ dream to “make their ambitious dreams for their street bar a reality”, and it has all the elements that make it absolutely binge-able—from the dramatic revenge plot to love triangles to friendships that’ll make you laugh and cry at the same time.
But storyline aside, one of the most talked about things from the show? Park Seo Joon’s character Park Saeroyi’s chestnut hair that sparked a new trend in Korea. While the same hairstyle might be hard to emulate (how did he pull it off so well?), the character’s casual, street-cool style is a different story.
