Nobody is perfect but I’m pretty sure Timothée Chalamet comes quite close. Not only is he a talented actor, humble (throwback to that time a surprised fan boarded a flight and found him seated next to her…on coach), he is also incredible well-dressed.
The Louis Vuitton sequin harness that he rocked on the red carpet for the Golden Globes 2019 is hands-down one of the best fashion moments this year. Prior to that, another memorable look from him was a full floral suit from Alexander McQueen. One thing’s clear, Timothée Chalamet marches to the beat of his own drum with his daring and experimental style.
Famous people often seek help from celebrity stylists to dress them for important events. But not Chalamet! In an interview with Frank Ocean for VMan, he revealed that he enjoys fashion and even calls himself a “fanboy”. “I don’t want to work with a stylist or anything. I’ve been following designers like Raf [Simons], Haider Ackermann, Hedi Slimane—these guys are like rock stars. They’re artists.”
So the person responsible behind all those head-turning looks thus far was the man himself. His most recent looks while promoting his latest film, ‘The King’ kicked things up a notch. The paint spattered overalls from Sterling Ruby that he wore to the 24th Busan International Film Festival definitely takes the cake.
