Margot Robbie is slaying her red carpet looks for the 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' press tour
Silver screen siren
‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' is set to hit Malaysian theatres this August, and we're all geared up to watch Australian Margot Robbie portray real-life ‘60s actress Sharon Tate in the film. The casting is on point, as Robbie and Tate look strikingly similar, with their ultra-sharp features and golden locks.
For the press tour of the film, Robbie translates her character portrayal off the screen with her ‘60s inspired wardrobe choices. At the UK premiere in London, the star wore a cumin-shaded draped silk chiffon gown by Oscar de la Renta, with an ethereal flowy silhouette that harks back to the bohemian decade. At the Los Angeles premiere, Robbie was a vision in white in custom Chanel. The ivory muslin dress with a plunging neckline and belted umpire waist was a clear homage to the late Sharon Tate's silver siren status. One thing's for sure, Robbie is on her way there herself. Her most recent red carpet appearances in Europe saw a fresh summer look by Jacquemus—the La Robe Manosque Tiered Maxi Dress in Berlin from the recent Resort 2020 collection looks exquisite on the actress. The slinky Dries van Noten dress definitely turns up the heat in bright canary!
