Pharrell collaborates with Chanel on Métiers d’art 2015/2016 collection

After Pharrell Williams’s FROW appearance at Chanel’s Autumn/Winter 2016 Ready-to-Wear show earlier this March, we aren’t surprised that the brand will be collaborating with the rapper and record producer for its Métiers d’art 2015/16 collection. A close friend of the house and a personal friend of Karl Lagerfeld, Pharrell spent a day with craftsmen including embroiderer Lesage, feathers and flower maker Lemarié, pleater Lognon, shoe maker Massaro and hat maker Maison Michel after the AW16 show last March; later on diving into the creative process of a few unique pieces from the Métiers d’art Paris in Rome 2015/16 collection.

Take a look at Pharrell’s visit to the Chanel ateliers here:

While we can’t wait to find out what the star’s creative designs entail, we’re hoping that most pieces will provide for a luxe summer wardrobe. Watch out for this collection, available in Chanel boutiques from June 2016 onwards.
