Shopaholics rejoice: there is a new shopping destination in town. This January, Pavilion KL will be home to Polo Ralph Lauren’s first free-standing store in Malaysia, and the sixth in Asia. The new space, which spans across 5,108 square feet, reflects the brand’s timeless heritage and iconic sophistication, synonymous with American style. Customers can expect to find collections for women, men and children.

Incorporating long-time influences on the Polo brand, the store features a unique mix of architectural elements from industrial New York City warehouses and refined prep schools. The dark green painted façade also features a central entry vestibule, flanked with two large LED videoscreens that showcased Polo’s latest ad campaigns. Juxtaposition comes into play with the industrial metal wall fixtures teamed with light-stained oak wall units as well as wall mounted cantilevered shelving units, displaying the apparel offerings. Other Polo store signature materials include paneled-board and batten-wood planks, wood-clad beams and rafters ceilings, complemented by exposed brick walls. Recovered pieces of decorative furniture and banks of LED monitors suspended from the ceiling further create an inviting atmosphere for the customers.
