The movie industry’s biggest night, the 89th Academy Awards, is underway as we type, and we can’t wait to find out if this year’s most nominated film, La La Land will take home all its 14 nominations (ranging from best actor, actress, director and more). Celebrities didn’t disappoint on the red carpet front, with champagne/gold gowns taking centre stage as the most popular colour tonight—Emma Stone in a fringed Givenchy Couture gown, Jessica Biel in dazzling KaufmanFranco, and Dakota Johnson in a Victorian-inspired Gucci silk dress. The men suited up with aplomb as well—Pharrell Williams shows us how to accessorise with layers of pearls and a diamond brooch in his Chanel ensemble, and Ryan Gosling looked spiffy in his Gucci suit (with a ruffled shirt, no less).
