The 33-year old Formula 1 driver is covered in ink that stretches to both arms, chest, back and neck, each telling a significant story from his journery. His biggest piece: a full-back tatt of a Celtic cross with wings, and the words ‘Still I Rise’ above it.
Apropros that this same inspirational phrase is the chosen title for the third instalment of #WhatsYourDrive—a documentary mini-series by Tommy Hilfiger. The series of videos follows the man behind the British racing legend, Lewis Hamilton (and Tommy Hilfiger Men’s latest global brand ambassador, ICYMI). In the latest episode, Hamilton reveals personal stories on how his father, mother and brother have inspired him from a young age which propelled him to racing stardom. Word of caution: You might want to prepare some tissues.
