Milan Fashion Week SS17: Day 4 Street Style

Everyone can probably breathe easy now, seeing as the once prevalent trend of suffocating suits at the office is officially a bygone.  Workwear has come a long way since. With a general increase in awareness of the importance of workplace wellbeing, many institutions have begun championing a more relaxed culture. Echoing that mantra, rules for office wear too have begun to loosen up.

The trending play on the tailored shirt leads the pack with off-shoulder iterations, alternative styling, and shirt-dress evolutions. Relaxed cuts for blazers and trousers command respect with no compromise on comfort. Finally, one showgoer layers a floral summer dress over her shirt; a new proposition for transitional dressing, i.e. from summer to fall, or from play to work.
