Oscars 2025: All the Best-dressed Stars on the Red Carpet
Power dressing

The grand finale of awards season has arrived—the highly anticipated Oscars take over The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The night’s drama begins before the trophies are claimed, as A-listers make their entrances on the red carpet in show-stopping looks.
The Wicked cast commands the spotlight, with Ariana Grande in a pale pink Schiaparelli dress, Cynthia Erivo in a green velvet Louis Vuitton gown, and Michelle Yeoh radiating elegance in a royal blue Balenciaga dress. Mikey Madison embraces understated glamour in a pink satin Dior dress edged with black velvet, while Demi Moore dazzles in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé creation, shimmering with crystal embroidery and pleated hip detailing that flows into a sweeping train.
Chanel lends its signature elegance to the red carpet, with Lupita Nyong’o glowing in a white gown adorned with a sparkling sequin corset and Penélope Cruz in a white silk chiffon design inspired by the house’s Spring/Summer 1992 collection. Then there’s Selena Gomez in a Ralph Lauren evening gown, embellished with hand-sewn Rosemont crystals and over 16,000 glass droplets, finished with a pink ombré effect. Elsewhere, Halle Berry mesmerises in a shattered-mirror dress by Christian Siriano, while Elle Fanning makes history in the first Givenchy couture gown designed by Sarah Burton.
It’s also a standout season for menswear. Timothée Chalamet, never one to play it safe, rocks a butter-yellow leather double-breasted cropped jacket and matching trousers by Givenchy. Andrew Garfield is effortlessly dashing in a brown Gucci suit and silk shirt, while Colman Domingo turns heads in a rose-red double-breasted tuxedo by Valentino.
Sebastian Stan balances sophistication with a twist, pairing a tuxedo with a black bow tie and a pale yellow silk poplin shirt. And Jeff Goldblum? As charming as ever in a Prada suit, finished with a purple orchid lapel flower and a matching tie.
