Earlier this month, blogger Lauren Bullen revealed and called out a copycat for recreating her Instagram photos at the same locations while wearing similar clothing in similar poses. Without going too much into detail about that, at least one good thing came out from it – a particular picture of a hotel’s swimming pool has caught the attention of the internet and many Instagrammers are flocking to Riad Yasmine in Marrakech, Morocco to visit and have their picture taken next to it.
Run by social media savvy French couple Gabriel Paris and Alice Tassery, Riad Yasmine is a tiny hideaway with only seven rooms but judging by the pleasing aesthetics of just the courtyard and pool, it must be true when Tassery told Mashable that the place is “relaxing, calm, (and) zen”.
Ever since Bullen posted a photo of the place, Tassery estimated more than 80 per cent of guests visited after seeing the pictures of the pool that have circulated on Instagram and Pinterest. Only one problem for new visitors: Finding a different angle to take their picture by the pool.
