Equipped with a top-of-the-line L-Acoustic soundsystem (AKA the same one you’d find at Tomorrowland, wink wink), you’re promised an elevated music experience that you’ll feel from the moment you descend its iconic stairwell.
As for genres, there are no limits here as a talented lineup of local and international DJs are prepared to spin every genre under the sun from high-energy house and techno to R&B and hip-hop. Its curated themed nights also present a new realm of signature DJ experiences for guests, such as ‘Techno Omakase’ Thursdays, ‘Hi Energy Saturday’, and more.
The dance floor is the heart of the venue, where expression and energy are embraced. Set right by the semi-transparent DJ booth and under a striking lightbox ceiling, it is illuminated by a large LED screen that brings the entire space to life.
Those in the VVIP area will be treated to a private, raised dance floor and seating space, where they can kick back in a more intimate setting. Anyone else looking for a truly exclusive and secluded experience can opt for the enclosed VIP room by the Champagne Bar and DJ deck.
TO SIP AND SAVOUR
With Lane 23’s curated drinks selection, gone are the days of sipping on watered down “cocktails” or much-too-strong concoctions. Its Main Bar and Champagne Bar both serve as the drink and social hubs of the venue, serving a sophisticated lineup of pours from rare labels to signature tipples.
You can’t go wrong with an order of its signature Laneway cocktail, made with vodka, chrysanthemum tea, longan, and pandan syrup—perfect for those looking for a drink with a local twist. Those on an alcohol-free journey can turn to its creative range of mocktails for their drinks fix. For one, we love the Mary Garden 23, an aromatic concoction of homemade distilled rosemary and lemon juice with some cayenne for a little edge.
And for when the drink kicks in and the tummy begins to rumble, your appetite doesn’t go forgotten, with Lane 23 Bistro’s hearty menu that features bites you can enjoy late into the night.
A SIGHT FOR THE SENSES
Tying together the entire Lane 23 experience is the space itself. Designed by the award-winning Mebourne-based architects, K2LD, the thoughtfully-designed venue brings together striking hues of gold and red.
The first thing you’ll notice upon entering is its grand staircase, embellished with a wall of cascading light installations, that leads to the dance floor and social spaces. In the main club area, plush velvet couches, sleek marble top tables, and metallic surfaces complete its sophisticated yet fresh look.

This April, Lane 23 is introducing an incredible lineup of headliners, who will be taking on the decks with their beats. Kicking off the series is Spanish electronic music icon Danny Avila on 10 April with his genre-blending sets featuring everything from techno to house.

Then, Grammy-nominated house music giant Paul van Dyk will be landing on 24 April. He’ll be blasting his signature sounds that have been a major part of the landscape for the last two decades. Lastly, UK-based DJ and producer Eli Brown will be bringing his bass-heavy house and techno tunes to Lane 23 on 26 April, which will transform the space into a euphoric warehouse-style rave.
