There are two new limited-edition Mini Cooper S Countryman variants in Malaysia

Since being available in Malaysia two years ago, the Mini Cooper S Countryman Sports model has been among the most popular from the automaker‘s portfolio—said to account for 75 per cent of total Mini deliveries in 2019 and more than 800 units delivered in Malaysia so far. Now, Mini Malaysia has brought in the Mini Countryman Sports with Blackline Package and the Mini Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof variants.

The former comes equipped with upgraded exterior in the Piano Black finishing. Along with the Countryman and Cooper S emblems, you will notice the Mini emblems in the front and rear. This variant will be available in British Racing Green or Light White. Both colour options are complete with Black roofs. As for the Mini Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof variant, the open-top further enhances the interior ambience with more light and fresh air.

Equipped with two-litre, four-cylinder engine with Mini TwinPower Turbo and paired with the seven-speed Dual Clutch Sports Automatic Transmission, both Mini Countryman Sports variants are capable of achieving the century sprint in just 7.5 seconds. The sporty model has a top speed of 225 kilometres per hour.

On the inside, the model now comes with Anthracite headliner, Sport Seats in Leather Cross Punch in Carbon Black, the Electronic Selector Lever, as well as 12 High Performance Speaker Harman Kardon Sound System with DSP Amplifier and Class-D technology. Other notable features include the 8.8-inch Mini Navigation System, a built-in 4G SIM card, and wireless charging. Oh, this is also the biggest Mini ever!

Alright, now let’s get to prices. The Mini Countryman Sports with Blackline Package is priced at RM243.280.38 whereas the Mini Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof is priced at RM247,280.38. There are only 38 units here in the country. What are your thoughts on Mini Malaysia’s latest additions to its portfolio of vehicles?
