7 Things you can do this weekend: 2-3 April 2016

1. Saturday Jump Fever Pillow Fight at Jump Street, 7pm – 10pm, Sat

Saturday is International Pillow Fight Day and Jump Street Trampoline Parks Malaysia is celebrating with, of course, a pillow fight party. Go in your best pajamas to win prizes and bring your pillow (only soft ones are allowed) to join the fun. There will also be a live DJ, games, challenges and free gifts to be redeemed.

Admission is RM27 and participation is free.

2. KL Book Exchange at Jaya One, 12pm – 8pm, Sat and Sun

If books are your thing, then we suggest that instead of curling up on your sofa with your current read, you head out this weekend with several good books to exchange for similarly good books that you have yet to read. Win-win. Alternatively, if you really can’t part with any of your books, you can grab theirs at RM5 each.

3. Muallaf screening at The Bee, Publika, 8pm, Sun

You’ve watched Sepet, Gubra, Mukhsin and maybe Talentime but you most probably didn’t see Muallaf – the movie that was never allowed to be screened in Malaysia while she was alive. Want to know why? Watch it there and then pose all your questions at the special Q&A session with Datin Orked and her friends. Also, 20% of the profits made from food and drinks ordered on that night will be donated to the Yasmin museum maintenance fund.

This is a free screening and seats are on a first-come, first-served basis so be sure to get there early for the best seats.

4. Enjoy Chef Wan’s Royal Malaysian cuisine at Mosaic, Mandarin Oriental, 3 – 9 April

Ever wondered what kind of dishes are served at the Royal Palaces of Malaysia? Well, Datuk Redzuawan Ismail, or better known as Chef Wan, will be showcasing the very best of classic and Royal Malaysian cuisine exclusively at Mandarin Oriental’s Mosaic.

Lunch is priced at RM128 nett per person while dinner is at RMwatches-and-jewellery-mens nett per person. For more information or to make a reservation, please call 03 2179 8881 or email [email protected]

5. Go on a hunt for desserts
