Anthony Bourdain launches his own travel guide

Anthony Bourdain has made himself a household name when it comes to travelling and food. A chef, author and TV host, his opinions and intel have sparked many conversations and now he’s expanding to a new platform: a digital travel guide which is aptly called Explore Parts Unknown

The website is an extension of his hit CNN show Parts Unknown, expanding on the episodes where the content is divided geographically and into four main categories: Eat, Drink, Know and Go. And it’s all very personal. Some of the things you can expect from the guide includes exclusive videos (a seven-episode digital series called Catalunya: The Return featuring Bourdain’s road trip across Spain), first-person notes from the host’s travels, recipes of dishes, time-stamped blueprints for a perfect 12 hours at a destination (including notes on restaurants, bars and random detours).

At the moment, Explore Parts Unknown has not added every location from the show but it certainly has enough to keep you entertained (and well-informed) for hours. The website will be updated with new content/destinations every Thursday before a new episode airs on Sunday.
