1. Join Nespresso’s Recycling Campaign at The Gardens Mall or Pavilion KL, 10am – 10pm, 3 & 4 August 2019

Participate in Nespresso’s social media campaign by showing (in the boutiques) an Instagram post showcasing your best recycling habits with the hashtag #NespressoRecycles. You might walk away with an Asia Second Life Chopstick, of which the top of the body is made with aluminium from 30 Nespresso capsules recycled in Asia. This is one way to get on board the journey to a more sustainable world.

2. Glorious Malaya Omakase at Nobu Kuala Lumpur, 12pm – 10.30pm, 3 & 4 August 2019

From 1 August to 31 August, Executive Chef Philip Leong and his team have crafted a distinctive seven-course menu specially for Merdeka. This is the first time that Nobu KL has introduced a menu in conjunction with the month of independence. Expect the infusion of local ingredients, such as monk fruit, palm sugar, tamarind, and coconut. The menu is priced at RM500++ per person and you will be savouring creations like Seared Toro with Caviar, Arctic Char with Wasabi Palm Sugar, and Wagyu with Nori Crema. 3. Moroccan Food Festival at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara, 3 & 4 August 2019
