3. Alexis Bistro International Jazz Series at Alexis Bistro, 10pm, 2 November 2019

This Saturday, jazz vocalist and songwriter, Jacqui Naylor returns to Alexis Bistro after sold out shows in the United States, Italy, Portugal, Germany, and Canada. She will be led by her long time collaborator Art Khu on piano, Malaysia’s legendary jazz musicians Lewis Pragasam on drums, and Norman Rahman on bass. Cover charge is priced at RM25 nett per person.

4. Starlight Carnival presents Zouk Live at Resorts World Genting, 3pm onwards, 2 November 2019

The first ever Starlight Carnival at Resorts World Genting will end on a high note with the debut of Zouk Live on the final day of the Carnival. Start with a unique fitness experience. Zouk Genting is collaborating with Épique Fitness for a music-meets-movement session combining workout with a thrilling soundtrack of EDM anthems. Next is the Mayhem Jam with dance classes such as hip hop taking centre stage. At 9pm, Malaysia’s most famous DJ duo Bate will step on stage before South Korea’s DJ Sura headlines the night at 11pm. Entry to Zouk Live is complimentary with valid Starlight Carnival wristbands.

6. Bihzhu: In Bloom at Taman Tugu Nursery, 6.30pm – 10pm, 2 November 2019

This is a special showcase marking the new chapter in the Malaysian singer’s musical journey, preceded by the launch of her new song, Nowness. With the tagline ‘It Takes A Kampung‘, this event will celebrate the strength of community and the power of human connection.
