With Christmas festivities (sadly) over, the next big thing to celebrate is the arrival of a brand new year! 1. Witness the hills come alive in the Sound of Music musical at Istana Budaya

The hills are calling! Celebrate the coming of a new year in the gorgeous Istana Budaya by catching the Sound of Music live. The timeless musical is now on its world tour, with performances running until 15 January 2023. Significantly, 17 talented Malaysian child actors were chosen from hundreds of applicants to star as the von Trapp children! From a fun rendition of Do Re Mi to the nostalgic Sixteen Going on Seventeen, you’ll be singing along to every tune of this beloved musical.

Head to a shopping mall for a night of fun activities! IOI City Mall will also see performances by well-loved local artists such as Hydra, Ziana Zain, Geraldine Gan, Masdo and more whilst IOI Mall Puchong celebrates 2023 with the likes of Rynn Lim, Uriah See, Phei Yong, and more.
