Nike revamps the national jersey for the new Malaysia National Team Kit

Next to Nike.com now delivering to Malaysia, including the NikeID service, there’s another piece of good news that hit closer to home. The new Malaysia National Team kit has gotten an upgrade with cutting edge innovations as well as a refreshed design thanks to Nike that will help our players optimise their performance on the pitch, and look good while they’re at it.

In terms of technology, the jerseys in the Home and Away kit sees the introduction of the new Nike Dri-Fit technology with laser-cut ventilation holes and mesh panels in key areas to improve performance by increasing air circulation to the players’ bodies and regulate their temperatures.

“The game play has evolved over the years, becoming faster and more aggressive. With this in mind, the kit went through a vigorous testing process, taking athletes’ feedback into consideration to deliver a kit that facilitates and promotes high and fast performance.” said Nino Priambodo, Malaysia Country Marketing Manager, Nike.

The new design continues to embody the Malaysian pride but with a sleeker twist. The facelift features an all-black base with striking yellow detailing – a first for the national jersey – and the tigers and quintessential stripes modernised. The away kit, on the other hand, has a white base colour with blue detailing at the sides instead.
