1. FIND YOUR BALANCE AT KARMA YOGA REXPERIENCE

Even though International Day of Yoga falls on 21 June, the celebration of the practice never stops with Karma Yoga. Alongside Rexperience at REXKL, Karma Yoga is bringing you a one-of-a-kind immersive indoor yoga experience. Happening once every month for the rest of the year, this yoga series aims to bring a dose of mindfulness and wellness to your days with the help of art and music too. For this month’s installation, you’ll get to practise Karma Yoga’s signature Karma Vinyasa. On top of your own mat, you’re also allowed to bring along a tripod, so you can capture the wonder that is Rexperience’s space as well as your movements through the poses and stretches.

3. FEEL THE ENERGY OF PORTUGAL AT OLIVIA DELI’S ST. JOÃO STREET FEST

Olivia Deli is celebrating the annual St. João Festival with a party of its own this Saturday! Known as Festa de São João do Porto in Portuguese, the celebrations in North Portugal usually see thousands of people descending upon the city centre to watch street concerts, host dance parties, observe fireworks, and more! As for eating, you’ll usually spot people feasting on barbecued sardines, caldo verde soup, and meat—all of which are on Olivia Deli’s menu for the night. Each ticket will get you three plates of Portuguese tapas and two glasses of red or white Nat Cool natural wines

4. APPRECIATE ARTISTRY AT OVERTURE, A SOLO ART EXHIBITION BY LEE WEE XIAN

Where: Awe Gallery, Taman Paramount

Watercolourist Lee Wee Xian is hosting his first-ever exhibition at Awe Gallery this weekend. The showcase tells the tale of Lee’s artistic discovery in his hometown of Melaka, where his passion for watercolour painting blossomed. There are over 25 paintings in the exhibition, each showcasing his favourite places and moments as well as his emotions and thoughts.

5. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR #TEAMMAS AT OLYMPIC DAY MALAYSIA 2024

When: 21 to 23 June 2024 

Where: Raintree Plaza, The Exchange TRX

The Paris 2024 Olympics is just about a month away and the Olympic Council of Malaysia is kicking off its celebrations at The Exchange TRX throughout the weekend. Its schedule is packed with activities and games for you and your families to enjoy. You’ll also get the chance to meet some former Malaysian Olympians like gymnast Ng Shu Wai as well as mixed badminton player and Olympic silver medallist Goh Liu Ying. Those who are avid basketball players can also register for the 3×3 Basketball Championship.

6. GET FEISTY WITH MONÉT’S KITCHEN HEIST SERIES

Over the next two weekends, Monét is ready to welcome four separate kitchen teams, who will take over its space to serve you some good eats. This weekend, you can catch Hanan and Natalie of Bono Dining as well as Jilid Enam, who are all ready to cook up a storm just for you. On Saturday, Bono Dining will be presenting a menu of both local classics and modern plates. The menu includes fried laksam, jammy honey  cumin plums, as well as a brown butter matcha affogato with frozen blackberries.

Bring your best celebration energy to Triptyk on Saturday for its Full Moon party, which doubles as team member Tareq’s birthday bash! As usual, there will be beats bumping throughout the night. The DJ lineup consists of Irama, Daiwas, Lzzy, Jonnyvicious, Quint, TJ Vibes, Mily, and 96000Hz. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Oasis Assisted Living.
