SIHH 2018: 4 Wrist wonders for her

Cartier Révélation d’une Panthère

Possibly one of the most awe-inducing timepieces at SIHH 2018, the Cartier Révélation d’une Panthère is a magical piece of work—one that took five years to develop. With an hourglass concept, over 900 tiny gold beads dance across the surface of the dial to reveal the panther at a flick of the wrist. It is available in three versions—black, green and red—each with a winding crown set with its corresponding gem, and a pink gold case paved with diamonds.

Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Arpels Planétarium

Van Cleef & Arpels unveils a celestial masterpiece in the form of the breathtaking Lady Arpels Planétarium. Starring an astronomical complication, the dial that resembles a glittering midnight illustrates the Sun and the movement of Mercury, Venus and Earth around it. The shooting star on the outer most ring tells the time. The automatic calibre is visible through  a sapphire crystal on the case back, along with the date display (mouse over the watch image above to see the back).

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon

This dazzling beauty—both in aesthetic and movement—should be on your radar because it’s Audemars Piguet’s very first Royal Oak Concept for ladies. It’s incidentally also the first flying tourbillon by the manufacture. The epitome of bold wrist statement, it features a 38.5mm white gold case set with either baguette or brilliant-cut diamonds on the beautiful skeletonised dial and bezel.

Romain Gauthier Insight Micro-Rotor Lady

SIHH newcomer Romain Gauthier introduced its first women’s watch at the fair—the Insight Micro-Rotor Lady. Essentially a feminised version of the Insight Micro-Rotor that was released last year, the dial catches the eye with the mother-of-pearl dial (available in white or black) and a sprinkling of diamonds on the bi-directional 22k gold micro-rotor.
