Last two weeks, on September 26, we partnered with Le Lumiere to uncover its exquisite pieces at their boutique in The Exchange TRX. Hosted by Weena Marcus, the event sparkled with the presence of 13 cherished Friends of BURO. Familiar faces, such as Mimi Fly, Malle Christian Anderson, Alvy Joanna, Nynaa Harizal and Shweta Sekhon, graced the occasion, turning the morning into a true celebration of elegance and joy.
The ‘Diamonds and Champagne’ affair commenced with a welcome speech from our Editor-in-Chief, Jason Lim, followed by a presentation from Joel Santiago, the House’s diamond expert. In this session, he introduced the brand and shared insights on how to choose the finest diamonds.
For Le Lumiere, the focus is on ideal diamond proportions and perfect Heart and Arrows symmetry, which results in a breathtaking display of scintillating brilliance that resonates with all generations. Additionally, the luxury jeweller is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of excellence by ensuring each diamond is meticulously chosen and undergoes a rigorous 60-point quality control inspection, setting its peerless diamonds apart from the competition.
Following that, guests had the opportunity to explore a selection of its breathtaking collections. One highlight was the Luxe collection, featuring a necklace adorned with 247 Le Lumiere diamonds, an 18K white gold ring, a fluid tennis bracelet and a pair of elegant earrings.
Another standout was the Royal collection, which boasts the enchanting beauty of starry sapphires. The Sapphire Symphony set includes a princess-style necklace, a delicate bracelet, a beautiful ring and drop earrings, each embellished with a single deep blue gem surrounded by a shimmering halo of melee diamonds.
The fascination with sapphires continues with another captivating set from the Royal collection, featuring a pair of midnight blue sapphire earrings, luxurious drop earrings, and bangles that gracefully blend the opulence of sapphires with the brilliance of Le Lumiere diamonds.
Adding to the allure is the Royal Ruby collection, designed for the modern, stylish woman. The Royal masterpiece sports 247 Le Lumiere diamonds, enveloping the necklace in a shimmering embrace. Meanwhile, the Royal Ruby ring resembles a bouquet of blossoms, set with 86 Le Lumiere diamonds and seven stunning rubies.
Not to be missed is the Heart’s Desire ring, made from gleaming 18K white gold, highlighted by a cluster of rubies at its centre. Before the event came to an end, a lucky draw took place, and Malle Christian Anderson was chosen as the lucky recipient of a gorgeous pendant.
