Vacheron Constantin collaborates with renowned photographer Steve McCurry

Even if you haven’t heard of Steve McCurry, chances are you’ve seen, or at least heard, of his work. The powerful image that is the Afghan Girl has been likened to Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of the Mona Lisa, and is one of National Geographic‘s most famous magazine covers (June 1985). An iconic figure in contemporary photography, Steve McCurry now joins hands with luxury Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin in an exceptional collaboration to illustrate the Overseas collection.

Created to embody the spirit of travel, the Overseas watches are imbued with casual elegance and practicality, making them ideal companions of modern travellers who journey the world in search of fresh discovery and exciting encounters. To capture the essence of the collection, Vacheron Constantin and Steve McCurry will set out on an adventure: 12 locations, 12 rare, little-known and sometimes inaccessible sites to be captured by the legendary photographer’s lens. This odyssey will begin in Geneva in February 2016, and will continue across the world for an entire year.
