J. W. Anderson introduces long-term collaboration with Converse
American classic with a dash of Brit chic

Chuck Taylor diehards and JW Anderson fans, this year will see the release of a collaboration that you’d want to get your hands (or feet, in this case) on. London-based designer Jonathan Anderson has announced a long-term partnership with iconic American footwear company Converse, dropping in stores this fall. During his Spring 2018 show at Pitti Uomo in Florence yesterday, Anderson unveiled the first few designs from the collaboration, including Chuck Taylor high-tops in metallic silver that snake up to the calf and Thunderbolt low-tops in denim.
“From my very first pair, Converse have represented such a radicial movement in style and culture. The contrasts and similarities between the world of Converse and the world of JW Anderson creates a space of culture tension that’s a dream to play within as a designer.” – Jonathan Anderson
This collection is unisex and will feature a wave detailing, J.W. Anderson branding and gradient colouring, according to BOF. This marks the second collaboration that the creative director of Spanish label Loewe is working on this year—his J.W. Anderson for Uniqlo was announced this March, and will also be released this fall.
