NikeLab has paired up once again with the ex-Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci for a reprise of his 2016 Dunk collaboration that birthed the NikeLab Dunk Lux High x RT. The latest release unveils a riff on the high-top silhouette—a line of mids reminiscent of chukka boots that has been befittingly dubbed the NikeLab Dunk Lux Chukka x RT.
This marks the fourth time the self-confessed sneakerhead has entered a partnership with Nike. Tisci’s affinity for skate culture and retro ’80s basketball served as inspiration while his experience with luxury supplied the exaggerated proportions, oversized branding and use of premium leather.
“I think the Dunk has something that’s very special. It’s grounded in sport as well as in the street style culture,” says Tisci. “For younger generations it can fit as many different styles tribes as you can imagine. I think it’s one of the most iconic shoes that Nike has ever created.”

Full-grain leather uppers, drop-in Lunarlon insoles for comfort, an impregnated swoosh and debossed logo on the heel will all feature on the new Dunk Lux Chukka that comes in black/white and red/white.
The shoes land at the NikeLab at Bergdorf Goodman, NikeLab 21 Mercer, Dover Street Market New York, Kith Brooklyn and Concepts NYC on February 10. Everybody everywhere else, cop a pair at NikeLab retailers and on nike.com/nikelab from February 23 onwards.
