Here’s how you can wear Pantone’s Colour of 2019

If Pantone’s colours of the previous years did little to inspire your wardrobe (let’s face it, a leafy green and bold violet can be a challenge to work with), this year’s ‘living coral‘ might just be your new favourite shade. Described as a symbol of “innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits” and “authentic and immersive experiences that enable connection and intimacy”, this vibrant colour is versatile yet uplifting—the perfect hue to pull off whether you’re dressed down for the weekend or pulling all out the stops for a night out.

Most recently, A-listers including Gigi Hadid and J. Lo have been spotted rocking a full-body coral look, giving the monochromatic-chic aesthetic a run for our money. If this cross between salmon pink and vivid orange happens to be a colour you can see yourself repping, shop from our favourite coral-coloured fashion things below.

Take on the head-to-toe look (without resembling an orange) with separates in flattering silhouettes, including trousers by Alice+Olivia, a ruffled silk dress by Peter Pilotto, or a class-act worthy trench coat by Acne Studios. Those who prefer something more understated can opt for Chanel’s new-season Boy bag, retro-inspired shades by Valentino, or perhaps a pair of classic pumps from Jimmy Choo.
