The return of the ’90s: small-frame sunglasses

More than just a fashion accessory, you can always count on a pair of sunnies to shade your weary peepers, or to give your (already) stylish ensemble that perk-me-up. From Jackie Kennedy’s oversized oval sunglasses to John Lennon’s signature circular frames, eyewear has seen an evolution over the centuries. While an emphasis is usually placed on go-big-or-go-home trends, we’re ditching the large frames for itty-bitty glasses that’ll make an equally loud statement. Surprisingly wearable, whether you’d like to don a pair for a daytime event (à la Rihanna) or go down the street-cool route with sport-luxe pairings (Taylor’s colour-tinted ones are on our style radar); practical or not, we’re hopping on the bandwagon.
